Traf's Club Inc has been around for years, but incorporated and opened to the public in 2025. We are a VicRoads-approved car club built for one thing: getting your historic vehicle onto the Club Permit Scheme as fast, cheap, and painlessly as possible.

Why we're different
Most car clubs running the Club Permit Scheme were built decades ago, around paper forms, in-person meetings, and committees. That works fine for a lot of people. It also means slow turnarounds, membership fees that don't reflect how little admin some clubs actually do, and processes that assume you have a free Tuesday evening to attend a meeting.
Traf's Club opened to the public in 2025 to do it differently. We built the entire membership and permit process around modern tools: digital signatures, an online submission form, and a back-end that turns paperwork around in 24 hours instead of weeks.

How is Traf's Club so cheap compared to other clubs?
After quite a few conversations in the Club Permit community, it was obvious that clubs that exist today often operate the same inefficient, manual, slow way the heritage vehicles they permit were built. Our digital-first approach and close relationship with VicRoads mean we've been able to put Club Holders' needs and wants first, to save them time, money and hassle. Our modern website, digital signatures and back-end systems mean we can produce forms in minutes rather than hours.
Do I have to attend meetings?
No. Traf's Club doesn't have any compulsory meetings, membership and the club permit process are handled entirely online. As we grow, we'll likely organise some fun, completely optional events like a Car Meet or Run.
Are you a VicRoads Approved Car Club/Association?
Yes. If you jump onto the approved car club list on the VicRoads website, you'll find Traf's Club Inc under the letter T. Unlike many other clubs, we are an incorporated not-for-profit association registered on the Australian Business Registry and with Consumer Affairs Victoria.
I'm not local to Traf's Club's area, does that matter?
Not at all. Since everything is handled digitally, there's no requirement to live near us or visit in person. The only condition is the car needs a garage address in Victoria to be eligible.
